The Importance of Maintenance

Just like gas boilers, it is important to have all ASHP systems serviced annually to ensure you get the maximum performance from your ASHP throughout its working life and also reduce the risk of potentially unnecessary and costly emergency repairs. This is necessary to comply with the warranty conditions. ASHPs are designed to help reduce heating and hot water bills, however, if they are not regularly maintained they can do the exact opposite.

As under-performance issues go un-noticed the immersion heater usage will increase causing an increase in electricity consumption. In turn making the system more costly and inefficient to operate.
